Ingredients:
1/4 cup cooked beans (preferably black or pinto beans)
1/4 onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp cooking oil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cumin
Salt (1/4 tsp)
Instructions:
Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until softened.
Add the cooked beans, garlic powder, cumin, and salt. Mash the beans with the back of a spoon or a fork while stirring.
Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture is creamy and thickened.
Serve as hot dish or a filling for tortillas.
Serve warm as a hearty main dish.
