Ingredients:
1/4 cup rice
1/4 onion, finely chopped
1/4 bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup beef broth
1 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp paprika
Salt (1/4 tsp)
Instructions:
Melt butter in a pot over medium heat. Sauté the onion and bell pepper until softened.
Add the rice, stirring to coat it with the butter. Cook for 1-2 minutes to lightly toast the rice.
Add the beef broth, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Stir well, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
Fluff with a fork and serve as a simple and flavorful pilaf.
