Ingredients:
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 egg (use half for one serving, or make a slightly larger batch)
1/2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin or use a single muffin cup.
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar.
In another bowl, combine milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix well.
Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared muffin cup.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool slightly before serving.
