Ingredients:
1/4 cup rice
1 tbsp butter
1/4 onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup beef broth
Instructions:
Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the garlic powder and uncooked rice, toasting the rice for 1-2 minutes.
Add the beef broth and salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cover.
Simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
Fluff with a fork and serve as a side or light meal.
