Ingredients:
1/4 cup cooked black beans, mashed
1 tbsp flour
1/4 onion, finely chopped
1/4 bell pepper, finely chopped
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cumin
Salt (1/4 tsp)
Black pepper (1/8 tsp)
1 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix the mashed black beans, flour, onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper until a firm mixture forms.
Shape the mixture into a small patty.
Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patty for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and firm.
Serve sandwiched between slices of bread.
